What does the entire purchasing process look like?

You submit a request with desired specifications of the diamond you are looking for, or maybe you need help deciding.

We then search through over two million diamonds for the best within your price range.

When a diamond or multiples have been located, you are then alerted and pick your favorite.

You purchase the diamond through the website-> diamond is ordered-> delivered to Port City Diamond Co-> verified via 30x loupe-> shipped to you.

How much does shipping cost?

It's free when its heading your direction!

When will I get my order?

Shipping time for loose stones is 2-10 business days to be received by Port City Diamond Co, depending on the diamond's current location.

Shipping time for settings is determined by the manufacturer and the customer will be given an estimated timeline at the earliest possible opportunity.

Processing time for dispatching the shipment to you is typically 1 business day and shipping times are 2-5 business days.

Estimated shipping times and updates will be provided as they are available.

What is the return policy for "loose" diamonds?

25 Day, hassle free returns (all products that are not eligible for return will be noted on the product screen):

Return window starts on the day the product is received. Unless the customer asks for Port City Diamond Co to hold onto their stone. If this is the case, the return window starts on the day the stone is received by Port City Diamond Co.

Initiate a return and have the package delivered before the end of the 25th day. To initiate a return, initiate through your Shopify account or email support@portcitydiamondco.com with your order details and request.

Buyer pays all return shipping. Package must be tracked, insured, and requiring signature for the full value of the product.

A restocking fee of $80 will be subtracted from the refund amount.

No late returns are accepted.

Product must be returned in original state/quality. Anything other than this will not be accepted.

Refunds will be processed when the diamond wholesale facility approves the restock. Expect time frames of 15-30 business days from the return ship date.

What is the return policy for settings?

NO returns on settings. Including the stone(s) set in the setting.

Are any purchases final sale?

Only items marked as final sale/non-returnable/no retuns will be deemed as such unless they are settings. All settings are final sale.

How long do refunds take?

Refunds will be processed when the diamond wholesale facility approves the restock. Expect time frames of 15-30 business days from the return ship date.

What is the 30-day manufacturer's warranty on rings?

Warranty. Seller warrants to the original buyer only that all items delivered hereunder shall conform to the description on the face hereof and shall be free from defects in material and workmanship when normally used and serviced for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of shipment. If within the 30 days after the receipt of any item a nonconformity or defect covered by the proceeding sentence appears in the item, and provided Buyer promptly returns the item to Seller, Seller will, at its option, either ship to Buyer a conforming item (which may be the original item appropriately repaired) or return to Buyer any portion of the purchase price of the item previously paid. Seller will be responsible for all reasonable transportation charges paid by Buyer for the foregoing purchase. All risk of loss and damage to any item returned to seller under this Section 5 shall remain with Buyer until receipt of the item by Seller.THE WARRANTIES SET FORTH HEREIN SHALL BE THE EXCLUSIVE WARRANTIES BY SELLER AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, WHETHER WRITTEN, ORAL, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AND WHETHER OR NOT ARISING FROM ANY COURSE OF DEALING OR PERFORMANCE, USAGE OF TRADE, AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR PURPOSE ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED.FURTHER, BUYER WAIVES ALL RIGHTS, CLAIMS, OR CAUSES OF ACTION IN REDHIBITION FROM THE SALE. BUYERS’ REMEDY IS LIMITED TO CORRECTION OF DEFECTS OR RETURN OF THE PURCHASE PRICE. THE RETURN OF THE PURCHASE PRICE PROVIDED SELLER RECEIVES THE LISTED ITEMS IN THE MANNER DESCRIBED AND WITHIN THE WARRANTY PERIOD. SELLER SHALL HAVE NO FURTHER OBLIGATIONS WHETHER IN WARRANTY, CONTRACT. NEGLIGENCE, ACTUAL OR IMPUTED, STRICT LIABILITY, ABSOLUTE LIABILITY, TORT OR OTHERWISE, WITH RESPECT TO DEFECTS IN OR NON-CONFORMANCE OF LISTED ITEMS, EXCEPT THOSE LISTED ABOVE.
